In case you have an old website still listed but in simple html, there is no reason to ababdon the site today. Even in todays syndicated Internetworld of Web 2.0+ we can still see many html websites in top position in all search engines. These sites have their advantages too. For one, they load faster than todays heavy loaded php scripted sites. Dynamically created websites have not only longer loading times, but mostly carry a bunch of modules, plugins and analytics scripts with them. An older html site can still get up in the ranks and achieve a good search engine position it it is optimized and maintained well. This case study of an html website shows that everything is possible.

Not so long ago, making websites in full Flash was hype. Nowadays we have come back to our senses and found out that waiting for a Flash website to open is going to take a half day with a bad Internet connection and still at least several minutes with a good one. Here at #1 Internet Marketing we left that train pass us by and we actually never jumped on it. While Flash can do fancy things, it’s loading time in general is still much too slow for an average Internet connection. Sometimes though we get confronted with the Question: Our site is in Flash, what now? Our motto is tonever repair anything that isn’t broken. If the Flash site has a good position, leave it there! Refresh your business image with a new website. An additional one. Websites are not so expensive anymore, Wordpress blogs can be easily maintained by anybody once it has been set up the right way. And a second web hosting account doesn’t have to cost much either to be very efficient. Ask #One of us!

This website of a Bungalow resort in Ko Tao, Thailand, the Wind Beach Resort, is a great example of the use of two different domain names on one and the same website. There is a reason to use the brand name or the hotel name or the company name for your domain as well. Obviously it is easily associated, in this case, with the Bungalows of Wind Beach Resort in Sairee. The domain name www.windbeachresort.com sure looks better on business cards and brochures than any other for search engine optimized domain.
